I want chocolate so much
So far I have not been doing very spectacularly with this whole no dessert/ weight loss thing. Although Sarah and I did go on walks Tues, Wed, and Thurs, we had to skip Friday because of a doctor appointment I had. And then Bryan and I each had one cupcake at our nephew's birthday party today, even though our dessert day was yesterday (Georgia Mud Fudge blizzard from Dairy Queen = yummm). And we're having friends over tonight who said they're bringing dessert. However, I would like to say that I have still eaten a lot less junk this week than I would have without our little dessert deal thing. For instance, I wanted some chocolate about fifty billion times this week and instead of having candy I had one of those 90 calorie pack things. Or fruit snacks. Or cheese and crackers. Still not the same as eating a piece of celery or something, but certainly a huge step up... at least in my book. Anyway, just thought I'd update you all since I couldn't really think of anything else to write about.

you should try logging what you're eating online. i did an online food diary on self.com and it took so much work to put in all the calories that once i put in my meals for the day, i didn't want to eat anything extra for fear of the extra work it would take to input it. sounds silly, but it worked for me. you could also just keep a pen & paper food journal.
keep up the good work. with lots of baby steps you'll get there :).

I think the dessert-once-a-week plan is a good one, and sometimes other things will come up. Good job!

mmmmmmmm... I want chocolate. Too bad I can't have any. Blast. Good job though! I know... probably more than a lot of people... how hard it is to stay good. You're my inspiration! :)

GEORGIA MUD FUDGE IS THE BEST!!! Of course, you obviously already knew that. Just remember to get it with Oreos instead of pecans. ;) hehe.
