Today was good.

Today was a good, regular, normal kind of day. I woke up earlier than desired (but not so bad) to feed the big O. Then she went back to sleep and I got to eat a real breakfast and read scriptures. I washed a few dishes and made the bed. Kendra called. She and I took the kids and got appointments to go back later this week to get flu shots at the health department. After that we went to the grocery store. I got pomegranates, among other things. They're a nice alternative to sugary desserts. And it takes so long to eat them that it's somewhat satisfying. A while after we got back from the store the big O and I went on a walk with our friends Sarah and Elsie. We walked a bit farther today than usual-- all the way down to the public library. It was fun. I got a few chick flicks there. Came home for a little while. Then went to help a friend figure out how to use her sewing machine. I think she's gonna make some pretty cool things. I'm excited for her. Sewing is fun. And rewarding. It's fun to make things. Came back home again. Put the lasagna in the oven. Bryan came home a while later. We chatted. He made grape juice. We ate dinner. Then we had family night. I gave a lesson on using our talents and creating things. Bryan chose a game to play. We shared part of a pomegranate. Then he went to do homework for a couple of hours. I finished off the rest of the pomegranate and watched one of the chick flicks from the library. It was dumb. Too many relationships and not enough plot. Bryan came home just as the movie was ending. Now he's giving the big O her bath. Hopefully she'll fall asleep soon after she gets out. I'm kinda tired.

Hooray for normal days, lasagne for dinner, a nice walk with a friend, and sweet peaceful time with your sweetheart and darling baby.

Oooo I so agree about the pomegranates. I love those so much, it takes quite a lot of effort to get to the seed but they are oh so delicious. I have also found grapes to help curb my sweet tooth...the green ones are sweet like sweet tarts or some other fruity candy.

This sounds like what you should say to the question, "Describe your favorite date. But it would be describe your favorite day. April 23, not too hot and not too cold. All you need is a light jacket.

Was that stupid movie that had too many relationships and not enough plot "He's Just Not That Into You?".. Because that movie is lame.
