Creative Motivation

Anyone who has ever posted a tutorial or a picture of something they've made knows--there's no greater reward than hearing someone say, "I saw you made that, so I made one too!" or "I saw you made that and it started me on my idea for this." So when I ran into my friend Erin at a local craft bazaar a week or so ago it was fun to hear her say that she likes reading my blog, but when she left a comment the next day saying, "It was fun to see you the other night! I had planned on blowing my allowance in there, but instead I just got ideas of stuff I wanted to make myself and decided I'll spend my money on supplies! So maybe you're rubbing off on me." I was even more flattered. So why am I going on and on about this? Just now I went over to my wonderful sister-in-law's blog to read this. Let's just say it made my day. And didn't she do a great job? Go leave her some comment love. She deserves it. Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!

That's how I felt when I read something on my teacher-friend's blog. You should read her post here:

Hey Katie, you made my day by commenting on my stocking holder revamp! Thank you. I'm so excited people like them as much as I do.
