Umm... sorry I didn't post this yesterday like I said I was going to. Kendra and I talked about it and then I just forgot to post. Whoops! But I have good news! All three of you won! So Hillary, Melissa, and Scmidttylongcar have all won a wonderful book prize! Schmiddtylostherbike- you can get yours next time you come play with us. Ha! :) And Hillary and Melissa- yours will be mailed to you. Congratulations ladies!
Speaking of winners, I would now like to tell you about how I won a lot of money from a raffle thing they are doing at our grocery store!!!!! Woot woot! to the infinity! The way it works is if the numbers on your receipt match a certain set of numbers for that week than you win. And the prize money gets bigger each week. I thought when I won that it had gotten up to $10,000. Sadly, the $10,000 bracket is next week. The winnings for this week (when I won) was $1,000. Still, $1,000. Although since my brother Nate and my dear friend Schmidttylongcar were with me when I won and we wouldn't have even bought the ice cream unless we were all there together, I really feel that I need to split my winnings with them. Bummer, since it was going to go toward Bryan's tuition. Still, I'm not complaining! A few extra hundred dollars is still really great! But there's more bad news. Apparently, accepting this money is like accepting lottery money--it's bad and you're not allowed to pay tithing on it, like with gambling wins and stuff. So I've decided to let Sam, Sarah's brother who is inactive and doesn't care about paying tithing, take it all. Bummer! And to top it all off, when I woke up and realized I had been dreaming and that I hadn't even won anything I was even more sad! Ah, such is life. I guess it was a bit unrealistic anyway. I mean, Nate lives a few states away (so it's really not reasonable that he was just here hanging out and buying ice cream with me and Schmiddtycakes) and, furthermore, as far as I know, Sam and his wife are active church members in good standing who like to pay their tithing.
