I. Am. Thrilled.

No, no. You're not in the wrong place. You haven't accidentally gone to some really trendy, cool blog instead. Indeed, you have found yourself right at the heart of loveliness. (Or at least that's what I think.) Yes, you are here at Notes From A Very Red Kitchen. New and improved. Newly designed. Infinitely better and more beautiful. And, "Welcome!" Please take off your bathroom slippers (yeah, it's okay if you're not dressed for the day yet) and stay a while.

More formal bragging will be forthcoming, but I just had to shout from the rooftops how thrilled I am with my beautiful new design. And since I had absolutely nothing to do with it, I feel quite alright bragging my pants off about it. Who did the design? And when can she wave her magical wand over your blog, you ask? Why, I suppose I will share my secret with you.

Her name is Nancy Jones. Of Nancy Jones Design and Photography. And if you're into photography, she also has a blog where she posts her most recent photo shoots here. Those of you living in the Hershey, Pennsylvania area, you lucky little dogs you, can even have the lovely Nancy take your family (or wedding or whatever) photos. Photos you will love. And brag to your friends about. (Contact info here.)

And her wand is magic indeed. Perhaps you recognize her name from the bit of bragging I did about her when she redesigned The Skinny for me a little while back.

Or maybe you remember mention of her when she designed my logo (and blog and everything else under the sun) for Sammy Jaybird.

Nancy- you do such beautiful work! I am so giddy over my new blog design!
Thank you thank you thank you!

P.S. I am now in the beginning phases of accepting sponsors. If you have a blog, website, etsy store, etc. that you're interested in advertising here, please shoot me an e-mail at and we'll talk turkey.

I don't know about sponsoring, but I am happy to donate some truffles or dipped caramels for a give away. I am at least 6 months from trying to turn it into a business, but good "press" is always good. I didn't want to offer for The Skinny, since yummy chocolates would be completely counterproductive for most of your followers there.

Looks's a professional make-over! You will enjoy this new look for a long time.

(I re-did mine, too, but it's not "fancy" like yours. :)
