Happy St. Patrick's Day!
...are you wearing something green?
Grab yourself a shamrock. Mine is one of those things you stuff inside a Build-A-Bear that I think I ended up with after a mall scavenger hunt for my 16th birthday. So I've had it a while. If you didn't happen to go on a mall scavenger hunt for your 16th birthday, you could make your own shamrock pretty easily by sewing two pieces of fabric together in the shape of a shamrock. The important thing is that whatever you use has two layers.
Next, hold the shamrock onto your jacket (or shirt or whatever) where you want it to be.
Still holding the shamrock in place, turn the jacket so you're looking at the inside. Run a safety pin through the back layer of your shamrock so that the safety pin won't show on the front.
Close the safety pin. The end.
Now you're ready to show off you're sweet new St. Patrick's Day bling!
So when someone asks, "Where's your green?"
You can say, "Right here!"
You will not only be pinch-free, but really cute.
And don't worry. If the big O gets hot she's sporting some state love underneath that should keep her covered in the green department.
This method could be used for a ton of other things too. I have a little puffy heart that I've done the same thing with for Valentine's Day. You could also do this with fabric flowers or countless other things. And I love that I don't have to commit to having a pin permanently hot-glued to something. I am all for lack of commitment and versatility when it comes to crafts.

such a good idea!
and you can see her cute little teeth in the last picture!!
Well...that still doesn't save her from having her cheeks pinched, cute baby.
Good idea. To bad I didn't think of it sooner. I just wore a green shirt for subbing 1st grade today. They were disappointed they didn't have a St. Patty's day craft.
Wow! She looks so much more like Bryan than the last time I saw her.
What a dolly girl. And I love the "craft tutorial"! Very entertaining! Happy St. Paddy's day to you all.
Olivia's shirt is so cute!
How have I never seen pictures of your cute baby before? She's adorable! I like the shamrock.
So stinking cute, I love the state love!
