Archive Appreciation Month

From left to right: Polly, me, Holly, Grandma
Okay, so this picture is super random, but it's the only one
I had on my computer that Polly and I are both in!
Taken 3 or 4 years ago at my brother's wedding reception.

Okay, so maybe the post I wrote two seconds ago was a little weird.  I do still want the advice, but I thought I'd cover it up a little by posting again so soon.  Anyway, have you visited my sister Polly's blog yet?  She writes over at Helping Little Hands (so named because my nieces and nephew tend to "help" a little more than necessary sometimes (Olivia will never do that, right?)).  Polly does a fantastic job at sharing wonderfully frugal, but high quality projects, a lot of which reuse materials that you probably have around your house anyway.  She is the frugal maestro.

The bad news: she's busy packing since they're moving to a new place pretty soon.  So she won't be sharing new projects so much for the next little bit.

The good news: Archive Appreciation Month.  She's decided to fill the lull in her forced blogging break by showcasing wonderful projects from around the crafty blog world that may be acquiring a bit of a dust layer.  Do you have any of those?  Projects you shared back when you first got started, but didn't have a lot of readers?  Projects that you love love love and still make all the time, but you only shared once and now maybe your readers have forgotten about them?  Just any old great project?

If so, click HERE to read Polly's post about how to participate and get in contact with her.  This is a great, effortless way to share your projects!  Anyone who's ever "guest blogged" knows that it can be a bit of a hassle sometimes, but since you're just sharing a project you've already written, this is so easy!

And, most of all, I'm super excited to see what everybody shares.  I'll be participating both on Polly's blog and by sharing some of my old(er) favorite projects here.  If you have questions about any of this, feel free to contact Polly or leave your question here in the comments (with a way to contact you) and one of us will get back to you.

Whoop whoop!

Sounds like fun! I am still getting lots of hits on my fabric balls, but it might be fun to put them out there again. Also, I think it's lovely that Grandma is in your picture, since she just celebrated her 80th birthday!
