It's hot here.

Which is making me feel rather blah.  And sweaty.  Gross.  So, I haven't gotten anything done around the house yet today.  Although the big O and I went on a rather fantastic walk with one of her favorite aunties.  But... uh... that's about it.  I really should wash the dishes, pick up Olivia's toys in the living room, put some other stuff away, clean up the sewing area, finish sewing a little project (another birthday present--sorry!), and shower.  And vacuum.  But I really don't feel like it.  And I kind of don't even feel like making myself feel like it.  I just feel like plunking down with a snack and a good movie and sitting still until my body cools down and doesn't feel gross.  Oh, and I should think of something to make for dinner this evening.  Meh.  Anybody's day more exciting than mine?

I've totally had those days before. Right now my house looks like a tornado and all I can do is plan crazy adventurous stuff to get us OUT of the house to IGNORE the mess... yep.

Um, so you see my problem...it is 104 today with mucho humidity and there is no chance of cooling down until October! Fun to go to the pool, no so much for other things in life! I did make myself clean the house today though...good thing it is small! :)

Hope you find some motivation soon!

We're here in Atascadero, where it is...hot...but thank goodness Grandma LaVerne has air conditioning! Mark and I did our weight lifting this morning, then went for a walk before it got too hot. Went grocery shopping with Gma this afternoon. Mark is trying to fix the bathroom fan. Hang in there!

I hear ya. Yesterday I took my kids to the park, even though I knew it was so hot outside. We stayed for about 10 minutes and then left, making our drive there and back longer than the time at the park. Then, since I'm so smart, I did the same thing again today. At least we went to a different park for 10 minutes this time though. It was hot enough that my two year old didn't even get mad having to leave so soon :).

I had a productive evening! ;)
Thanks for the walk and advise and awesomeness that comes with being a great sister-in-law.
