Squeaky squeaky

That is what I hear from the bedroom.  It's Olivia.  Waking up from a nap.  And here I sit trying to hold onto the last few moments of down time.  But being a mother is great.  I'm so happy and grateful that I get to be Olivia's mom.

I'm also happy and grateful that so many of you have left such helpful, practical, potentially sanity-saving comments for me.  I think that, all in all, in this big world, there are a handful of creeps (which I tend to worry about when getting in and out of the car sometimes), but that, overall, people in this world are nice.  Even when I was waiting in line this morning next to a rather gansta looking guy, I couldn't help but smile to myself, thinking that, if I had a problem or something, he'd probably be really nice and helpful.  I really do believe that about most of the people in this world.  And I'm happy that all of you who read my blog are proof of that.

Speaking of the nice comments you've left, a number of you have asked exactly where we'll be going on these trips I keep mentioning.  I really would love to just tell you point blank where we're going so you could all give me location-specific advice, but it's those one or two creepers that I worry about when posting specific location information.  And while I don't think that any of them read my little blog, you just never know.  So I might let the so-called cat out of the bag, but I'll have to talk it over with Bryan first.  Thanks so much for your interest though.  I know you're only asking 'cuz your nice and you want to help me out.  :)

In other news, I haven't been making anything much lately.  Our overhaul of clothing relocation made quite a mess and the bedroom still hasn't recovered.  Which is also why I haven't taken pictures yet to show you what we did.  But one of these days it's got to magically be clean when I walk in there, right?  So I haven't forgotten about sharing things with you.  But Bryan would be cranky if I took pictures now while it's still such a mess.  You know, he has good manners and was raised well and that sort of thing.  I was raised well too, of course, but I think my mom would rather see pictures than wait for me to clean up the mess.  Am I right, Mom?  Anyway, that will have to wait a little longer.

Okay, now I know this is way past anything anyone out there is interested in, but one of my shoes is lying face down on the floor, just beyond the frame of the laptop screen and I have noticed it in my peripheral vision and thought it was a large brown rat at least five times.  Like I said, you may have to excuse the crazy around here for a little while.

Well, the longer I write this post, the more I come to realize that it's no big surprise why two followers dropped out in the past two days.  Ha!  Thanks to all of you who hang in there with me during the blah blah wordy crazy random posts.  It's pretty nice of you.  :)

Ummm...probably best to finish straightening up before you take the photos. But first go play with Miss O and give her a great big hug from me.

Haha, I can imagine your heart must have jumped up a couple of times when you thought your shoe was a rat :-D

Goodluck with all the chaos and the planning. I can imagine it's al so exciting and at the same time a bit overwhelming for you right now. But I am sure everything will work out great.

And ofcourse we'll hang on here. You didn't think we would really stop following your 'shoe turning into rat' adventures, now did you? ;-)

Oh Katie, you crack me up! I'd follow you twice if I could to make up for the nerds (cause they couldn't have been very cool) that dropped out!
