Well, since we were busy looking at schools and housing in Houston last weekend, we missed General Conference. (Pssst! What's that?) Every six months (April and October)The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (a.k.a "Mormon" church) meets together in Salt Lake and across the world via satellite and the internet to listen to the Prophet, twelve Apostles, and other church leaders speak to us to give us guidance from the Lord. It's a wonderful uplifting two days of feeling the Spirit.
And we missed it. Mega bummer. Lucky for us, you can now view all of General Conference online. It's not quite the same as being able to watch it in real time, but it's still so wonderful to hear the talks given by the speakers rather than only being able to read them in print. I'm so grateful for modern technology.
So, that's what Bryan and I will be catching up on--General Conference. :) And since I like to keep my hands busy while I watch, I'll be working on some of these fun little hand embroidery projects (inspired by this and these):

And a very happy Sunday to you all! :)
