That is how my sister-in-law Alison that is the epitome of a college freshman girl says, "by the way."  And now I can't help but think of it whenever I about to type "by the way."

And speaking of my in-laws, I am happy to report that this month is NaBloPoMo!  What is that?  And what does it have to do with my in-laws? 


NaBloPoMo is short for National Blog Posting Month.  Basically it's like a "Hey everybody!  Let's all post every day this month!" sort of thing.  A bit unnecessary for me these days, but for my cooler in-laws living real (and much busier) lives NaBloPoMo is getting to be practically the only time they sit down and write on their blogs every day.  Which is awesome.  Because I love their blogs and I miss the days when they used to write on them all the time.

You: "So is NaBloPoMo just a thing your family does?"
Me: "No.  It's for everybody."
You: "Like, even me?"
Me: "Yeah.  Here's proof."

Yes, NaBloPoMo is not only a pain in the patootie to type with all those capital and lower case letters, but it is for everyone!  It's a great way to get a leg up on blogging if that's something you'd like to do, but don't really have time for.

As for what NaBloPoMo has to do with my in-laws?  Well, you may or may not know this, but I haven't been blogging about crafty stuff for all that long.  I started the ol' blog back in the day because I was trying to be cool like my in-laws.  More specifically, like my favorite Lewis sister-in-law, Anna.  So when Anna accused me of doing stealthy NaBloPoMo unbeknownst to all of you in the comments earlier today, I thought I'd better come clean and be up front about it. 

I am posting every day this month.  Bam.

Probably it will be same as usual.  But who knows?  To quote myself from last year's poem...

P.S. I wish I could have remembered all of the funny and ridiculous things that Bryan has said this evening.  If so, you would have had some awesome quotes about his pants being high waters, awkward smells, and something he read about aliens and superman and batman and the statue of liberty.  Uhh... yeah.
