Note: This tutorial makes 4 Candy Cane Rolls. :)
Materials:
- 1 fat quarter Red Stripe fabric
- Ribbon
- Toilet paper tubes
Cut your fat quarter (fabric measuring 18 1/2" x 22") into quarters. Each piece should measure 9 1/4" x 11"
Step 2: Cut your ribbon
For each roll, cut two strips of ribbon each measuring 9 1/2" to 10" long.
Step 3: Singe ribbon edges.
Quickly and carefully run the raw ends of your ribbon close to a candle flame. This will seal up the ribbon ends to keep them from fraying.
Step 4: Get it ready
Place gift inside toilet paper roll. With the gift inside, place your toilet paper roll along one of the long edges of your fabric.
Step 5: Roll it up
Roll the toilet paper roll and fabric together.
Step 6: Tie on your ribbon
Tie ribbon on each end in square knots. I also like to just tie a little tag on at the same time.
And you're DONE! :)
Wasn't that easy?
