Being Lame and Bragging

I know what you're all thinking.

"What happened to all the crafting and sewing that used to go on around here?"

Well, I am here to assure you that it is still going on.  In fact, I have two projects sitting in different stages of completion as we speak (err... as I write).  But life around here lately has been busy.  And, to be honest, I'm not even entirely sure why.  But it has.  So there.

Also, one of my favorite (finished) projects as of late has to be a secret for a little bit longer.  (Eeek!)  :)

Anyway, I just wanted to assure you all that my craft and sewing days are not long gone.  And I have a couple tutorials all saved on the computer and waiting to be written-up.  I've just got to muster up the focus (and time) to get them up here for you.  It might still be a while.  And I might decide I hate them and never post them.  Sometimes I'm weird like that.

Okay, so I guess mostly this is just a lame post pleading with you all to keep reading my blog even though it hasn't been very cool lately.  Because it will be cool again soon.  Promise.  (Hopefully.)

And, in completely unrelated news, I must brag for a moment about Olivia.  But in order to fully appreciate this bragging you need to first know two things about Olivia.

1. Olivia loves Starfall (the alphabet pages).
2. Olivia loves the letter O.

At the end of the O pages on Starfall there's a little game where you sort out two different letters.  (It's always O and then another letter.)  This morning when we got to that part it had us sorting out "o"s and "f"s.  And you know what?  (This is the bragging part)  Olivia sorted them all by herself!  Each time a new little letter came out she'd say "Oh!" or "Efff" and then I'd sort them into their little spots.  She was right every time with no prompting or anything! 

A 16 month old in love with the alphabet.  So proud.
