A good nap goes a long way

Thanks everybody for hanging in there with me during some pouty posts lately.  Feeling overwhelmed about one or two things tends to spill all over the rest of life, doesn't it?  Even when life is good.  And, really, life is good.  Sometimes we just have moments when we realize that and I had one of those moments today.  I started on a little something to go in my shop (someday).  And I worked on it for a while, just happily puttering away on the ol' sewing machine.  And I finished it.  And then the thought occurred to me: Olivia has been sleeping this whole time!  I honestly can't remember the last time I started and finished an entire project during one of her naps.  It was so refreshing.  Like a big deep breath full of doing what I love.  And it gave me hope for my future in making things.  Ahhh... so good.  :)

In other good news, I'm feeling a little more hopeful (at least at the moment) on the eventual job front.  A good friend told me about a great place the other day.  I'll leave it at that for now.  Thank you friend.  You know who you are.

Anybody else having a good day today?  Any particular reason?
