Greg's Waving Kitty Handkerchief

This tin seemed appropriate coming from us since Bryan and I were both born in 1986.  :)

When I saw this pattern on One Pretty Thing months ago I immediately thought of Bryan's dad.  (In fact, I think seeing this pattern was what got us rolling on Christmas presents so early.  And thank goodness!)  Sometime last year (I think) Bryan's dad bought one of these waving kitties and was telling us all about how he had been looking for the perfect one.  So now he has a handkerchief to match.  Haha.  Not really one of those things you ever need, but we knew it would make him smile on Christmas day.

We also added a few other goodies in there for him.  Some marzipan Ritter Sport (even though it's "the lame US kind"--Bryan claims it's better overseas.  I wouldn't know.) and a random little ornament (umm... that I made last year and then forgot to include in his gift--heh heh).  :)

Just a funny little poem I found online last year.  Certainly nothing against people of the Jewish faith.  And I honestly have no idea who Benny Hill is.  I just thought it was funny.  And thought it would make my father-in-law chuckle.  Okay, I'm done excusing myself for this kind of weird present.

Remember how cute that kitty is?  Haha.  The end.  :)
