A little something cozy

Brrr.  It's cold here today!  Our little electronic weather gizmo said it was 9 degrees outside this morning.  Nine.  Brrr.  So, in celebration of trying to keep warm and toasty, how about a cozy little giveaway?  Yeah?  I thought you might like that.  :)

Today's giveaway is from my wonderful sponsor Aleatha of Resurrected Threads.

At Resurrected Threads we scour the secondhand shops for gorgeous textiles in the form of unwanted clothing, curtains, and linens. After a few snips and some stitching, they are resurrected as beautiful one-of-a-kind garments and accessories.

Aleatha and I first met when we lived in the same apartment complex a few years back.  I always admired Aleatha's style and skill in creating.  It was always fun to see what handmade piece she brought to baby showers.  (We lived around a lot of young married students, so we had a lot of baby showers.)  And I loved to visit her home and look around at all the fun things she's made.  She's since moved away and I miss her!  So it's fun to keep in contact and have her as a sponsor now.  She's a first-rate, down-to-earth kind of a gal and I couldn't be happier to share her creations with you.

Today Aleatha is giving away
a custom hat and mittens set
(for a child age 0-2 years)
to one lucky winner!

The set will include one soft, cozy Snow Gnome Hat
(sooo adorable)...

...and a pair of sweet, soft mittens to match.

To enter:
  • Visit Resurrected Threads
  • Then come back and leave a comment on this post with your e-mail address and a note about your favorite thing from her shop
*Note--You must be a follower to enter.

This giveaway will close at midnight (US Mountain time) on Tuesday, January 18, 2011.

Any entries that do not include a valid e-mail address will not be eligable to win.  (And, yes, it's okay if you know that you're e-mail address is publicly linked to your blogger account.)  :)

Enter!   :)

This giveaway is now closed.  Thanks to all of you who entered!

Beautiful set. I knew Aleatha in college and she truly is one of the most amazing crafty girls. I mean how many people do you know that made their own wedding dress!? I love the pumpkin toddler jacket sweater.

Whoa. I loooooove the gnome hat. Um, I live in Hawaii, but I must find a reason for my kid to wear such a hat. This is too cool.
