Colors and Zippers and Weather... oh my!

Well, it may be April, but the spring showers around here have turned into snow.  Grrr.  So I thought I'd share a few things to keep you cozy.

First up, this adorable quiet book made by my friend Julie...

...using a variety of my handmade buttons!

Great for learning colors and mastering those fine motor skills.  Check out the rest of her quiet book HERE on her blog.  Awesome job Julie!

Next up, I've been doing a little winter hoarding in the zipper department.  I found a treasure trove of zippers at the thrift store recently and couldn't possibly use up all this vintage goodness (uhh... nor would Bryan let me since we're moving soon and this pile is out of control... heh heh).  So I decided to pass the goodies and the savings on to you!

Bundles of these vintage lovelies are now available in

Obviously I can't make my own vintage zippers, so there's a limited supply.  Grab them while you can!

Each bundle comes with a variety of colors and an assortment of loose and packaged zippers.  I kind of want to just steal all of the packaging and decorate with it.  But I won't.  I'll let you do that.

Zipper packaging just aint what it used to be, ya know?

And, finally, with all this talk about cold weather, I of course had to mention the newest addition to the ol' shop...
A printable matching game with weather pictures and terms!

Great for playing go-fish (weather style) or as a fun addition to calendar time.  And, unlike the other great printables in the shop, this little set is only $2!  Find it now in THE SHOP.

I think today Olivia and I are going to hunker down and play a few rounds of it ourselves.  :)

Happy Friday!

What a cute book! Such a great idea. So... would you be willing to sell a set of one button of each color? I'd love to do a page like this and your buttons are SO much cuter than the ones in the store. I'm not in a huge hurry, though, and I know you're moving and, you know, leaving all your stuff, so if that order would need to wait, that would be fine.

And I love all your printables. My son is just barely 18 months old and starting to have a little bit longer attention span so we're starting the school thing and (as soon as payday rolls around) we're going to start with your flashcards. I love them all!
