What's Up and Winner

Handmade Buttons Set of 52 --  find them HERE in The Shop

Hey!  Long time no see, eh?  Sorry about that.  I hadn't planned to take such a long break, but it just sort of ended up that way.  Last time I posted I mentioned that our computer was acting like an extinct dinosaur.  Well, we have since gotten a (super awesome really fast and dependable) rental from the university to use until we leave.  So, on the one hand I'm not having super slow computer issues anymore.  Yay!  On the other hand, I'm a little freaked out about uploading pictures onto this computer.  I honestly haven't even tried it yet.  Gah.  Don't worry, I'll get brave and try soon.  But I haven't yet.  Which is the main reason I haven't started playing catch up yet.

Another reason is that I've been doing some mental work about what I want to do with the ol' blog.  I think I have finally made the beginnings of a decision.  Whew!  That was hard.  More on that in the future.

And, finally, I have chosen a winner for the giveaway!  I know, I know, it was so long ago now that you're probably all wondering, "What giveaway?"  Anyway, the happy winner (chosen via random.org) of a $10 gift card to THE SHOP is...

I love your homemade buttons.

Oops!  Sorry!  That wasn't a valid e-mail address and I can't look at their profile, so I've chosen another winner (also via random.org).  And it's...

I love the bright blue-ish buttons! Actually, I like most of the buttons, but those are my favorite!

Thanks to all of you who entered!  It was fun to read your nice comments while I was working away on yard sale stuff like a busy little bee.

Oh, my gosh, girl! I just found you via a couple of blog links. There was a picture of you on Grosgrain (which I had never been to before) and there was my beautiful Katie! Craziness! Anyway, so fun to look around your blog and see your cute kids (and see how famous you are). ;> I keep thinking about opening a shop on Etsy, but haven't convinced myself just yet. You are inspiring me. I hope all goes well with your move. I'm sending you my love!
