Happy birthday to me.  This year I'm getting a studio.  :)
P.S. We own almost none of the things in the background of this picture anymore.

We have made a decision.  These next few weeks are going to be downright crazy.

The sewing machines are going to be inaccessible.  (Which makes me freak out more than a little.)  My crafting supplies is going to be packed away.  All of my creative juices will be flowing into the "How much should I sell these last few things for?" and "How are we going to pack all this stuff into our car?" sections of my brain.  So you can all consider yourselves forewarned that I won't be coming out with any awesome new tutorials or craft ideas in the next few weeks.

But here's the good news.  This move is going to be a happy one.  There is light at the end of the tunnel.  And that light looks a lot like a dishwasher and washer and dryer.  And three times more space than what we have here.  And--dare I say it?--an entire room for my sewing machines to live.

So don't worry.  Things around here aren't going to consist of my regular show and tell.  But I'll still be checking in.  And pretty soon it will all be back to normal.  Well, better than normal.  :)

In the mean time, thanks so much for all your kind comments on the last post.  You guys are awesome.

A whole room for your sewing?? I'm so jealous. Someday I hope to have more space than just the tiny corner of my living room...

Good luck with the move - the light at the end of the tunnel will be worth all the stress in the end. xo
