So...
Guess what?
I'm teaching a sewing class!
If you're in the Columbus, Ohio area and you want to come, here are a few details for you:
- It will be on Wednesday, November 30th from 6-9pm
- We'll be making "Merry Christmas" banners (see above photo)
- Basic skills that will be covered in this class include: printing on fabric with stamps, sewing with bias tape, and basic sewing machine skills
- ALL SUPPLIES ARE INCLUDED in the cost of the class (All you have to do is show up, sew, and have fun!)
- Cost is $15 per person
If you'd like to come, we'd love to have you join us!
This class is for all sewing levels, including those out there who feel totally lost at a sewing machine.
To reserve your spot, e-mail me at kathleenann08@gmail.com and I'll get you squared away.
Class size is limited, so... ya know, sign up sooner than later, okay?

Yesterday I went in to the (high school) sewing class to help score their end-of-term speeches. I was astounded when a couple of the students held up dresses they were making, and said it was the first time they had done any sewing. I chatted with them afterwards and got a closer look at the dress pattern, which had a bunch of complicated darts in it. Whew! I think the Christmas banner is a much more sane way to learn how to navigate a sewing machine. Looks like a fun class!
