This morning I painted my toenails and then talked Olivia into painting her nails.  She already wanted to, but I think she was afraid it was going to hurt or something.  So she needed a little talking into at the last minute.

We were going to paint her toenails (like Mommy's), but, like I said, she freaked out at the last minute.  So instead I talked her into letting me paint her tiny little pinky fingernail on her hand.

Once she realized that it didn't hurt at all, she was thoroughly delighted and kept insisting "more," indicating that she wanted me to finish painting the rest of her nails.

This is how her little pink nails turned out:

Or, I guess I should say, this is what her little pink nails look like to boring old grown-up eyes.

This is what they look like to little girl two year-old eyes:

Yeah, having a little two year-old girl around all the time is pretty fun.

I can currently hear her off in the other room, easily conning her 22 year old uncle into reading her stories and playing games with her.

Oh, and for those of you who may be wondering from the above pictures, we're not really teaching Olivia how to play the piano yet. After all, she's only two.  No, it was really just a good backdrop for showing off pretty pink nails.

But she does always love a good round of "Wheels On The Bus" with Daddy.

Arora and I really enjoyed this post. We just painted our nails yesterday. (Well, Arora had both fingernails & toenails...I just painted my toenails...)

It's fun to be pretty!

She is so, so, so adorable. I'm glad I got to see her and her pink nails (and you!) tonight!
