Sugar Cookies with Nana and Papa G

Olivia  enjoyed eating the extra sprinkles off her plate.

Anna tries to impress Soapy with her brilliant cookie design...

...featuring baby Jesus on a star!

Papa G decided Anna's masterpiece was inapropos (translation: inappropriate) and added a diaper.

Olivia is a balancing superstar.  Here's proof.
When she got tired of helping make cookies she went in the other room and did this.
Impressive, no?

Sometime last week Lala and Nana (Bryan's mom) made sugar cookie dough together while Bryan and I were out.  Then this morning it was a sugar cookie making palooza.

Featured in the pictures above (in no particular order) are Nana and Papa G (Bryan's mom and dad), Lala, me, Bryan, Aunt Ali (Bryan's sister), Auntie Anna (Bryan's brother's wife), and Soapy and Jojo (Olivia's cousins).

The girls had a blast making cookies.  By the end all caution was thrown aside and they were making funny little mushy cookie shapes jam packed with sprinkles.  Papa G made things even more fun by adding food coloring to small batches of dough.  And Nana forbade me from including her in pictures, but I did anyway.  Just, ya know, shh!  Don't tell.

What are you all up to?

YAY YAY YAY!!! Thanks for putting these up! Mark and I were saying last night that we should put up pictures of all the fun we're having... that would be me reading Harry Potter and him playing on the computer. And Calvin kicking away.
Those cookies look awesome!
