It's the most wonderful time of the year

Despite the terrible morning I had (don't ask), I'm really happy that it's November. And for so many reasons! Christmas is around the corner, Thanksgiving is coming up (both of which mean fun family time), and--drum roll please--it's NaBloPoMo!

For those of you who haven't been subjected to this in years past, welcome! NaBloPoMo is what all the cool kids call National Blog Posting Month. So, really, when you say NaBloPoMo you're really saying, "Hey guys, it's November! I'm going to write on my blog every day this month!" And then you feel the inevitable pressure set in that you might accidentally miss a day or something and have to figure out ways to explain yourself and your continual lack of perfection. Hmm.

Anyway, despite the pressure about imminent failure, NaBloPoMo is one of my favorite times of the year because that is when Bryan and his siblings (and my sister in law) finally pop out of their gofer holes and write on their blogs and tell me what's going on in their lives! (Okay, and some other people I really like write on their blogs every day too. But they don't usually take 11 months off in between.)

You know I'm all for blogging and whatnot, but I was debating whether to do NaBloPoMo here every day or on our super secret private family blog where all of the only-a-grandmother-could-love-this videos of Olivia end up. In the end, I decided to subject you to it all here. So this is your fair warning that I may be popping in to write random posts like, "It's almost midnight, but I posted!" Hopefully not, but you never know.

Rats. When I read the bit about the grandma blog, I went immediately to the grandma blog in HOPES of a new post, but no. Maybe tomorrow??? Love you, Katie! I'm excited to read your posts every day this month. :)
