TREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only have one minute left to post and have this be "on time," so I'll probably fake it and schedule it for 11:59 pm because that's when I started it, so I'm calling it legit. So there.

So, I have 36 unread e-mails in my inbox. Well, technically that's not true. Several of them I've read and then marked as unread so that I'll remember to respond to them when I get a chance. But so far I haven't gotten a chance. If you've sent me an e-mail or some other form of electronic communication in the past few days and you haven't heard back from me yet, please forgive me. Let's still be friends. Things have just been busy.

I almost said that things have been crazy busy, but I don't think that's true. There hasn't really been any crazy going on (thank goodness), but I have been busy. Our mornings are always a rush these days, I'm already behind on my book project schedule, and I have been doing my darnedest to not be a fatty.

I would give you a rundown of my daily schedule, but then creepers could stalk me and that would be no bueno. So instead I'll just say that things are busy. Busy with book work. Busy with being a mom and and a wife and a friend. And busy with lots and lots of exercise.

By the way, thank you for all of the recommendations on shows and movies to watch! Several of you left great comments on this post and on Facebook with recommendations (kudos to my sister, Kendra, who I think has the current record for the most shows recommended by a single person--Kendra, when did you start watching so much TV? Also, how is it possible that you watch so much TV? You're so busy!). I've also had a few local friends come up to me lately and randomly start telling me some of their favorite shows. Haha. I love it. I have a little more than one DVD left of Gilmore Girls and then I am going to have to start actually putting your recommendations to good use. I'll let you know what I settle on. Or maybe I won't. Guess we'll see.

And, speaking of watching Gilmore Girls, I have two things to say:

  1. I am so mad that Loreli and Chris didn't stay married. And they broke up for such dumb reasons. The world is full of marriage haters. Or at least the world of the Gilmores. And it makes me lose all respect for them. Boooo.
  2. You should be impressed at how much I've been exercising lately. I know I am.

Lately I've been rocking the exercise bike in the evenings after Olivia's in bed. And today was even treat day and we had friends over to eat treats and I still got on the exercise bike and rode for a whole episode after they left. Although lately I've been doing two or three episodes of bike riding a night. Which means I'm typically riding for 90-135 minutes. Yeah, be impressed.

Tonight I even ended my happy special sweaty time with crunches, chest flies (weight lifting thing), bicycle crunches, and push ups. Unfortunately, all the sweeties I ate today still left me in the red on calories. Bah. But I did my best. And tomorrow it's back to the no-treats-none-of-the-time channel for me.

Anyway, I'm tired and sweaty (because I came down to post before getting in the shower so I wouldn't miss the deadline that I have now faked anyway), so it's time to bid you all goodnight. Or good morning if you're happily living on the other side of the world. Or good afternoon or whatever. The end.

P.S. Thanks to all of you who commented on yesterday's post. I haven't had a chance to look at any of those videos, but I'm crossing my fingers for getting a chance to do that tomorrow. Here's to catching up on things!
