New Tutorial: Mini Magnet Quilts

It's my goal to post one new tutorial in my portfolio each week and I almost didn't make it this week, but, hey! Look! A new tutorial! How nice. :)

Truth be told, I actually made this fun little play quilt last week, but didn't get around to editing the pictures and writing it all up until today. Which means you should mostly be impressed that this tutorial ever saw the light of day at all because I've worked on so many projects in between making this and publishing the tutorial that my attention has since moved on to a billion other things. Sticking with projects all the way to the end is something I'm working on. (Ahem, obviously.)

Anyway, I'm so glad I squeaked this little tutorial out today because, despite being distracted by other things, I'm so excited to share it with you! I made a couple sets the day I made them and then sat and rearranged them for... uhh... a really long time. :) One went off to live with one of the sweet ladies from my favorite local fabric shop, but the one in the tutorial pictures is still hanging out here in my workshop. I really need to play with it some more. Or make more squares so the possibilities are even more endless. Bwahahaha.

Oh. Umm... check out the tutorial for the Mini Magnet Quilts HERE.

Happy Friday!

Yeah, I have some posts like that, too. Glad to see the Altoid tins are going to good use. I like the way the fabric coordinates with the tin. :)

PS - A question about the tutorial - do you buy the magnets new with adhesive backing that you can peel off? I get magnets in the mail as advertisements - wish there was a way I could re-use them.
