Every book needs a cover that's why we invited you

Drum roll please...

Umm, I'm a little bit excited about it. :) After a whirlwind of last-minute checking and finishing up, my beautiful little book finally went off to the printers this week. Yay! It was a bit of a crazy week, but I'm so happy with how the finished product turned out. My designer at Cedar Fort did a fabulous job getting everything just right and I couldn't be happier. Now I just can't wait for you all to get your hands on a copy so you can see the inside of the book! :)

Speaking of which, you can see this pretty new cover and pre-order as many copies as you like at the following places:

Barnes & Noble

I also have it on good authority that a "look inside" feature is on its way, so pretty soon you should be able to take a peek inside the book online and see just how lovely it is. :)

In unrelated news, Bryan and I watched "Father of the Bride" 1 and 2 this past week, hence the subtle reference to "Every party needs a pooper that's why we invited you. Party pooper! George Bhaanks!" It was an enjoyable experience, of course, but it's always a little disenchanting to watch your old favorites once you've grown up a wee bit. And also, movies from the 90's are so cheesy. But, you know, still great all around.

I'm also still working like crazy to try and finish getting everything ready for the Avant-Garde craft show this next weekend. Hopefully by the time you come visit me at the show I'll have figured out some kind of shop sign and everything will be sewn and labeled and looking nice. With everything going on with the book this week, I've had limited time and energy to devote to show prep, so wish me luck. I have a feeling this next week is going to be all show prep all the time. Still, it's awesome to be so busy with things that make me happy. Bryan and I keep talking about how blessed and happy our lives are right now and it really is true.

Except for last night when I threw up so much. The end.

Thanks Aleatha! My friend Suzanne Gipson did all of the cover photography and she did a wonderful job!

I really love your book cover! Seeing what it will look like on the shelf in the store makes everything seem more real, know what I mean?

I can't wait to hear how the craft show goes next weekend!!
