Simple Sewing Blog Tour: LiEr from Ikat Bag
It's time for the next stop on our blog tour! Next up is the awesome LiEr from Ikat Bag. LiEr's blog has a special place in my heart because, aside from being a sewing rock star, she makes the most amazing cardboard creations. If you haven't beheld the awesomeness that is her cardboard projects and tutorials, you're seriously missing out.
The other thing I love about LiEr's blog is that she is so fantastically thorough. And her post for the blog tour today is no exception! LiEr created not one, but four versions of the basic Lunch Sack from my book, Simple Sewing: 30 Fast and Easy Projects for Beginners. In her post she gives a full tutorial on how to add the handle/closure you see in the photo above as well as how the bag looks in four very different kinds of fabric. So awesome!
And for those of you who have been looking for a full list of projects included in the book, LiEr also included a photo of the table of contents in her review of the book. And I'm so glad she did! It was one of those things I didn't even think about including in my own look inside the book, but obviously it's a really helpful thing to know before you buy. (Duh, me!) :)
Head on over to her post to check it all out and enter for another chance to win a free copy of the book! Thanks LiEr!
