Simple Sewing Blog Tour: Mary from Molly Flanders
Good evening friends and welcome to our LAST STOP EVER on the blog tour for my new book, Simple Sewing: 30 Fast and Easy Projects for Beginners!! Woot woooooot! I couldn't be more pleased that our very last stop is with Mary from her wonderful blog Molly Flanders Makerie. Mary is a local here in Columbus, Ohio and since she works at my favorite little local fabric store, Sew to Speak, I've had the pleasure of running into Mary several times.
Aside from being one of the sweetest people I've ever met in real life, her quilting (and sewing skills in general) are amazing. I love her style and sense of color. And the top stitching. Oh the top stitching! Mary's famous around here for her gorgeous hand stitching on her quilts and other projects and for good reason. I was so excited when I saw the projects she made from my book and saw that she had included her signature hand stitching on her projects. Head on over to Mary's post to see the wonderful journal and book covers she made and--bonus!--a pencil pouch too!
And while you're there be sure to enter to for a chance to win a free copy of the book! This is the last giveaway on the blog tour!
Thanks so much to everyone for following along throughout the Simple Sewing blog tour! I'll be doing an official re-cap soon with links to all of the wonderful projects featured in the tour, but in the mean time, feel free to browse the Simple Sewing tag on my blog for all the posts.
Happy Friday! And happy sewing!
